OUR HISTORY

Jacobson Floral Supply, Inc. was founded by Edward Jacobson in 1943. He began in a small garage next to his apartment in Brighton, Massachusetts, later moving to Tremont Street in Boston. In 1970, the company moved to its present location at 500 Albany Street, next to the Boston Flower Exchange. Jacobson Floral Supply, Inc. continues to be a family-owned and operated business, now in its third generation.
Over 30 years ago, Jacobson began importing products from all over the world. Now, Jacobson imports an enormous selection of products directly from all over Europe and the Orient. Through the import company, Holiday Designs, Ltd., Jacobson is able to provide customers with the finest quality and most unique products at the best values!
In 1988, Jacobson opened a branch location in Framingham, Massachusetts. Jacobson Floral took the innovative step on combining our operation with a fresh flower and plant wholesaler. In doing so, provided a new market area with a one stop shopping solution.
In 2001, Jacobson Floral Supply, Inc. opened a branch location in Cromwell, Connecticut yet another operating along side Seagroatt Wholesale Florist. This combination gave our customers one-stop solution for all their floral related needs. Seagroatt Wholesale Florist offers the finest fresh flowers, including their own homegrown varieties, while Jacobson Floral offers the most extensive line of floral supplies.
Jacobson is now the largest "hardgoods only" supplier in New England and one of the largest in the United States. Unlike our competitors, supplies are our only business, which is why we provide the widest selection, most unique offerings, and finest quality from hundreds of manufacturers and our own direct imports. We invite you to see our selection in Boston, MA.
